MEET THE DOCTOR
DR. BONCIEL GRIFFIN-BURRESS
Dr. Bonciel Griffin-Burress, a native Chicagoan who grew up on the south and west sides of Chicago, is a second-generation orthodontist, who is dedicated to educating and improving the smiles of her patients in the community in which she serves. Dr. Griffin-Burress became an orthodontist because it allows her to do the two things she loves most - educate and transform smiles.
Dr Griffin- Burress is a CPS graduate who earned her BS in Biology at Albion College. Dr. Griffin-Burress continued her educational studies at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. She later attended and earned her certificate in Orthodontics at Howard University College of Dentistry. Dr. Griffin-Burress remains current with the latest orthodontic advancements by completing the McLaughlin Orthodontic Program and the Pitts 21 Masters course, along with various courses for the placement and usage of TADS to help her create her patient's desired smile. .
Dr. Griffin-Burress has been recognized for her outstanding contributions to the community and was selected as a 2020 Distinguished Alumna at Albion College and is the only African-American female to privately own multiple orthodontic and dental practices in Chicago and featured on the cover of OrthoTown Magazine.
In 2012, Dr Griffin-Burress was also recognized by WVON Urban Business Roundtable as a 40 under 40 next generation business and civic influencer.
